Here is where I veer off course. Instead of telling you all the things I will do for you, I am going to tell you the things that I will notdo. I think it will give you a much better understanding of who I really am.
I will not be a “yes man”. I will not tell you things just because I think it is what you want to hear. I will not try to “talk you into” buying a house. If I think a house isn’t right for you, I will not be afraid to tell you why I feel that way. I will not tell you your home is worth more than it actually is just to get my sign in your yard only to turnaround and ask you to reduce the price 2 weeks later. I will not tell you that “I might already have a buyer for your home” just to get your listing. I will not list your home and then disappear, never to be heard from again. I will not be anything but honest!
In the end, isn’t that the most important thing? We are not talking about buying a pair of shoes here. We are talking about what will most likely be the biggest financial investment of your life. Don’t you think it’s important to have honesty? Even if it’s not exactly what you want to hear? Being honest, to me, is always the right approach.
If you want to know how many houses I’ve sold, just ask. I’ll tell you. If you want to know my whole life story…I am happy to share it. But I don’t want you to do business with me because of how many houses I’ve sold or because we both love our dogs. I want you to do business with me because you know that no matter what…I will be honest!
